Day 1 - Kochi - Kumarakom (120 km)
Upon arrival, our representative will greet you at Kochi Airport/ Railway Station. Later proceed to Kumarakom. Check-in at the hotel and relax for a while within the comforts of your room. Kumarakom is one of the few places in the world where the means of transportation is boats. Kumarakom is blessed with the Vembanad Lake which has its majestic web of canals, streams and distributaries along its banks.
The major attraction of Kumarakom is the Bird Sanctuary which is a favourite spot for migratory birds. Domestic birds such as cuckoo, wild duck, egrets, darters, herons, teal, and water fowl can be seen in abundance here, and the Siberian storks which migrate to this place each year. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort.
Day 2 - Kumarakom - Munnar (180 kms)
On After breakfast, proceed to Munnar, the place where the unfolded green carpet is waiting for you. Munnar is breathtakingly beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility – the idyllic tourist destination in God’s own country. On the way you can enjoy waterfalls of Cheeyappara.
Reach & check-in at the hotel, Later proceed for sightseeing of Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching with the variety of birds found there. Enroute visit Kundala Lake, Echo Point, View Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.
Day 3 - Munnar - Kochi (140 kms)
Wake up to the new sunrise and enjoy your breakfast, After breakfast if time permits visit Rajamalai, part of Eravikulam National Park which is the home for the highly endangered Nilgiri Thar. This place is the home for half of the worlds Nilgiri Thar Population. Later pack your luggage to head home.
